Teenage boys seriously hurt in Hastings crash

Police have arrested two men in connection with a crash in Hastings which left two young boys seriously injured.

The crash happened in Fredericks Road at around 2.45pm on Thursday (July 20th).

A 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy, both from Hastings, are no longer considered to be in a life-threatening condition.

A 23-year-old man from Eastbourne and a 22-year-old man from Hastings were both detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Both remained in custody as of 9pm on Thursday.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the situation, with Sussex Police increasing their patrols in the area.

Officers have also asked the public to refrain from sharing anything on social media which would risk prejudicing the case.
