A teenage boy has suffered life-changing injuries after falling from a swing at a Worthing park.

It happened at the park known as ‘Kitty’s Field’, off Dominion Road, on 8 September.

The 13 year-old currently remains in hospital.

Four teenagers voluntarily attended police interview in response to an appeal for information, and are said to be "fully assisting officers with their enquiries".

Sussex Police has confirmed they are not seeking anyone else.

The force has thanked the local community for their "patience and understanding" while they investigate the incident, adding "we would urge people not to speculate as we seek to establish the full circumstances".
