Suspects sought after Crawley street robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was pushed to the ground and robbed in Crawley.

The 65-year-old victim had his wallet taken from his back pocket during the incident outside the Co-op Texaco garage in Balcombe Road at around 7.15pm last Sunday (February 7th).

He sustained cuts and bruises during the incident.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said there were three suspects, described as being younger white males in dark clothing.

They ran away towards Turners Hill Road, discarding the wallet from which they took some cash.

Those who saw what happened are asked contact Sussex Police either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 27 of 08/02.
