Three men have been charged in connection with the murder of a man from Henfield.

The body of 24-year-old Billy Henham was discovered at a disused building in North Street in Brighton on January 2nd, 2020, after officers attended the property following a report of concerns for a person.

Sussex Police officers arrested four people in connection with Billy’s murder on Thursday (May 20th), following new investigative evidence.

Three men have since been charged with murder and will appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Friday (May 21st).

They are 18-year-old Alize Spence, of Makepeace Road in Ealing, west London, 19-year-old Lamech Gordon-Carew of Cheeseman Close in Hampton, south-west London, and 28-year-old Gregory Hawley of no fixed address.

The fourth man was released without any further action.

Detective Superintendent Alex Geldart, who is leading the investigation, says:

“Our thoughts are with Bill’s family and friends at this time.”
