Police investigating assault after Pirate Day celebrations in Hastings
A 19-year-old man sustained facial injuries
Police are investigating an assault on a group following Pirate Day celebrations in Hastings.
The attack occurred as the group walked from the Old Town towards the New Town in the early hours of 22 July.
As they approached Wellington Place at around 1am, they were assaulted by a larger group of young people.
A 19-year-old man sustained facial injuries during the attack.
Sussex Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to get in touch.
