Police find ten suspected illegal immigrants in lorry in Worthing
The driver has been arrested
Police have arrested a lorry driver after ten suspected illegal immigrants were found inside a vehicle in Worthing.
The group were found inside the back of a refrigerated trailer after the vehicle was pulled over by officers on the A24 at Findon Valley at just before 7.45pm on Tuesday (April 27th).
Sussex Police confirmed the group were checked over by paramedics before being handed over to immigration enforcement and Border Force officials.
The driver has been taken into custody on suspicion of immigration offences.
