Police are appealing for witnesses to a deliberate fire in Rottingdean.

Emergency services were called to Greenways around 10.45pm on Friday (28 March) following reports of a campervan on fire.

The fire was extinguished by crews, and found to have caused extensive damage to the vehicle. No one was inside and no injuries were reported.

Initial enquiries determined the cause of the fire was deliberate, and an investigation was launched by police.

Investigating officers would now like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area around that time.
