Police appeal after 91-year-old woman dies in Chichester collision

The incident involved a red Toyota which had left the carriageway.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 91-year-old woman has died following a fatal collision in Chichester.

Emergency services were called to South Bank in south Chichester at about 9.40pm on Friday after an incident was reported involving a red Toyota which had left the carriageway.

The driver, a 91-year-old woman from Southampton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are investigating, and have appealed to anyone with relevant dashcam footage, CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage in the area to come forward.
