The organisation have admitted that the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) made a mistake by not awarding a spot kick for a foul on Kaoru Mitoma by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

It was one of three penalty claims turned down in the match.

It wasn't just on-pitch antics that grabbed fans' attention - but on the touchline too.

Both Roberto De Zerbi, and Christian Stellini were sent off for not controlling their coaching staff.

It followed a heated altercation before kick-off between the two Italians.

The game saw Tottenham continue their push for a place in next year's Champion's League - and also hampered Brighton's attack for their first taste of European football in their history.

The North London club currently sit in fifth place - just three points from Manchester United, who sit in fourth.

Yesterday's loss sees De Zerbi's men sit in seventh in the league - a point off sixth place.
