Pedestrian dies in A27 Worthing collision

A man has died following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Worthing.

The crash happened in Arundel Road, near Teign Walk, at around 8pm on Wednesday (October 30th).

Police say the victim, a 69-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The stretch was closed through Wednesday night and Thursday morning for investigation work before being re-opened at around midday.

Sussex Police are undertaking enquiries to establish the circumstances around the collision, and have asked anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage to contact them.
