Part of A27 closed after car and lorry collide

A driver is being treated by paramedics following a collision on the A27 at Worthing on Tuesday morning (February 9th).

Police were called to the scene near Castle Goring at 7.08am following reports of an incident involving a car and a lorry.

The driver's injuries are not thought to be serious.

The westbound carriageway is closed between its junctions with the A280 and the Offington roundabout while vehicle recovery is arranged.

Road users are advised to follow the hollow triangle diversion route:

Exit the A27 at Offington Corner and take the A24 northbound.

At the Findon roundabout take the exit to join the A280 westbound towards Clapham.

At the Clapham intersection re-join the A27 westbound
