MP says West Sussex housing targets are 'Disaster'
It's after this week's housing statement made them mandatory rather than advisable.
Fresh housing targets for West Sussex are a "disaster", according to one of its MPs.
Andrew Griffith's been speaking after this week's housing statement revealed that there'll be mandatory housebuilding targets across the country.
The Arundel and South Downs representative says the area's taken more than its "fair share" of housing - although the government's saying they'll make sure developments work for local people and protect nature.
Labour says though that it'll ensure the developments work for local people.
