Motorcyclist dies in collision near Lewes

A motorcyclist has died following a collision between Lewes and Ringmer.

A car was also involved in the crash in the A26 at Earwig Corner - for Uckfield Road and Ringmer Road - at around 4.40pm on Wednesday (20th November).

The rider, a 33 year old local man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses to the collision, especially those with dashcam or mobile phone footage, to contact Sussex Police.
