Man stabbed by 'teenage boys' in Hastings

Witness appeal after an incident in the town centre

Sussex Police are investigating after a 42 year old man was stabbed by two 'boys' in their teens in Hastings.

It happened around 3.20am on Sunday (7 November)

Officers were called to Bohemia Road, at the junction with White Rock Road, outside the ambulance station, where the victim. a local man, had sustained stab wounds to his chest and leg.

He's been receiving treatment at hospital for the injuries which are not assessed as life threatening.

His attackers are described as two white boys, aged about 16-17, both about 5'7". One was possibly wearing a red coat and they are believed to have been with a third boy.

Detective Constable Andy Smithson said:
