Man sought by police after stabbing in Brighton
Police are asking for help to identify a man after a 45-year-old was stabbed during an early morning altercation on London Road
Police are asking for help to identify a man as part of ongoing enquiries into a stabbing in Brighton on 26 April.
A 45-year-old man from Brighton was attacked at around 2.15am at the junction of London Road and Rose Hill Terrace, following a reported altercation with a group.
The victim suffered multiple knife wounds during the incident. The suspects left the scene before officers arrived.
Three 17-year-old girls from Brighton were later arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. They were charged and appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 28 April. Due to their age, their names cannot be published.
The girls have been bailed with conditions and are next due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 27 May.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and are appealing for help to identify the man in the image. If you recognise him, please contact us.”
