Man seriously injured in Brighton e-scooter crash dies

He war rushed to hospital last month but has succumbed to his injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses to an e-scooter collision in Brighton last month, after a man died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The 54-year-old, from the city, was seriously injured when the vehicle he was riding collided with a metal fence on a footpath at the rear of Falmer railway station, at about 8.15pm on June 8th.

Sussex Police said the man was taken to the city's Royal Sussex County Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on Monday (June 28th).

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the rider beforehand, or who stopped and assisted at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1495 of 08/06.
