A man from West Sussex has been sentenced to three years in prison for dealing class A drugs.

31 year old Tauland Volaj, of Kithurst Crescent, Goring was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on Monday 2 August 2021.

He was arrested in December 2019 after police stopped him in a vehicle thought to be linked with the supply of drugs.

Police discovered seven deal bags each containing 3g of cocaine, two mobile phones, and an amount of cash.

A further search of his home found a larger stash of 16g of cocaine in various containers.

“The production and distribution of illegal drugs can cause significant harm to communities and it will not be tolerated in Sussex. The sentence imposed by the courts reflects this.

“Our officers will continue to proactively patrol the county in order to crack down on those who misuse our roads to carry out offences, and to keep everyone safe.”
