Man dies after crash involving cars and bus near Henfield

A woman was also seriously injured in the collision

Police are investigating a crash involving cars and a bus near Henfield in which a 73-year-old man died.

Officers were called to Brighton Road in Woodmancote at 11.38am yesterday (Tuesday 4th).

The pensioner is said to have been driving a car which collided with the bus and was then involved in a further collision with a car later down the same road.

A 73-year-old man sadly died after his car was in collision with a bus and car on Brighton Road, Woodmancote, on Tuesday morning (4 March).

The driver of the second car, a 63-year-old woman from Henfield, suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital. There were no injuries to anyone on the bus.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage, to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Copland.
