Man charged in connection with suspected robberies in Eastbourne

A man has been charged in connection with a series of suspected robberies in Eastbourne.
31-year-old Elliott Moore of College Road in Eastbourne, is accused of three counts of robbery and two counts of being in possession of a bladed article.
It follows police being called to a Boss Man Booze store in Grove Road on Wednesday 16 August, a WH Smith store on Terminus Road last Saturday (19 August), and a Tesco Express on Seaside Road on Sunday (20 August).
Mr Moore has also been charged in relation to a suspected burglary at a Coop store on Cornfield Road last Sunday (20 August) morning.
He appeared before Brighton Magistrates Court last Wednesday (23 August) and was remanded in custody.
He's next scheduled to appear in a crown court to be fixed on Wednesday 20 September.
