Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Crawley
The man was arrested after a woman was attacked with a weapon on Chanctonbury Way, Crawley.
Officers were called to Chanctonbury Way in Crawley shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, June 1, after reports of a woman having suffered serious head injuries.
A suspect was identified as a 30 year old man from Crawley and subsequently arrested.
The injured woman was taken to hospital in an ambulance and the man has been released on conditional bail while the enquiries continue.
Police have stated that the injuries sustained by the woman were from an assault involving a weapon.
