Man arrested following death of motorcyclist in East Sussex

A man's been arrested following the death of a motorcyclist on a road in East Sussex

Sussex police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist died on the A21 at Whatlington.

The force confirmed the rider, a 57-year old man, was pronounced dead at the scene following a four-vehicle collision.

The collision involved a black BMW, a grey Honda Jazz, a white Nissan, and a gold Triumph Bonneville motorcycle.

A 35-year-old man from Bexley was arrested but has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV footage to come forward.
