Police seeking man after suitcases stolen at Gatwick

The luggage contained personal items that the victim has said cannot be replaced

Police are appealing for help to identify a man after luggage was reported stolen from London Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal.

Suitcases were stolen outside the toilet area in Zone A between 3pm and 6pm on Thursday, 30th October.

The luggage contained personal items that the victim has said cannot be replaced.

Officers have shared CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft.

He was seen wearing a distinctive bucket hat, an orange coat layered over a black hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms, and white trainers.

According to police, the man was last seen leaving the area via the Southern Walkway towards the Forecourt, Ring Road, and the B2036 Balcombe Road.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 1520 of 30/10.
