Littlehampton man charged with two burglaries and using threatening behaviour

He has been remanded in custody to appear at court in January

A man has been arrested and charged with carrying out two burglaries in Littlehampton and using threatening behaviour towards a person.

Shane McKenzie, aged 37, of Arundel Road in Littlehampton, appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Monday (30 November).

He was charged with carrying out a burglary at a house in Smallcroft Close and another at a home in Gloucester Place, where a laptop was stolen on 28 November.

McKenzie was also charged with using threatening words and behaviour towards a man who challenged him in Smallcroft close.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on 4 January.
