Jet skier dies after getting into difficulty in Sussex

Sussex police have said a man has died after getting into difficulty at sea.

The force and RNLI responded to a report of a jet skier in difficulty in the sea this was near Rottingdean on Friday before 2pm.

A 41-year-old man from Brighton was brought to shore but was later pronounced dead at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The coroner has been informed with the police stating "the matter has not been deemed suspicious."
