Identity appeal after schoolchildren harassed on Brighton bus

A man is being sought in connection with reports of schoolchildren being harassed on a bus in Brighton.

A teenage girl was persistently approached by a stranger on the number 55 at around 7.40am on Thursday, May 18.

The suspect is described as being around 5’7”, overweight with short, dark brown hair and wearing a black tracksuit.

He had a tattoo with cursive writing on the back of his neck and another on his right hand.

Police have been in talks with teachers and pupils affected to give advice in case it happens again.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured is urged to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 525 of 18/05.
