The next round of the Home Office's Safer Streets funding has opened up, meaning more money could soon be coming to Sussex.

The county's Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Katy Bourne wants to hear from local residents, on how safe they feel in the county and how safety can be improved.

Around £75 million in total is being made available to be spent on:

  • Reducing neighbourhood crime: domestic burglary, robbery, theft from person, vehicle crime.
  • Reducing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).
  • Reducing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) in public spaces, including the night-time economy.
  • Increasing feelings of safety in public places.

The survey closes on the 29th of April.
