Horsham man killed in Christmas Eve crash
The car he was in hit a tree late on Thursday night
Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver died in a collision in Steyning on Christmas Eve night.
Emergency services were called to the Washington Road, close to Wiston House, at 10.40pm on Thursday (December 24th).
A silver BMW which had been travelling west left the road and collided with a tree.
Despite the efforts of the responders, a 21-year-old man from Horsham sadly died at the scene.
Police remained at the scene for six hours for investigation and recovery to take place.
The road remained closed through Christmas Day morning to allow highways to clear the carriageway.
