Three men arrested after a serious assault at Brighton restaurant
A man in his 60s was seriously injured.
Three men have been arrested following a serious assault in a Brighton restaurant.
Officers were called to reports of a fight inside Zaf'ron, a restaurant on North Road, at around 3.30am on the 2nd of August.
A man in his 60s was found with serious injuries. The ambulance service attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Three men, aged 19, 27 and 30, were arrested inside the restaurant on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Following further enquiries by police, the 19-year-old has since been released without charge.
The other two men were released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
