After a tough year for our nation's key workers, we're being asked to deliver the gift of gratitude this festive season.

TAP (Thank and Praise) is a social thanking platform, passing on messages of thanks and support to thousands of workers at organisations across the country, including in Sussex.

Any member of the public or co-worker can send their own message of thanks to their key worker through the TAP platform.

Head of Care for Carepoint Services in Sussex said: "Thank You – that seems so insignificant if you look at what our frontline Social Care staff is doing daily in our communities, but yet as a society we forget to use those words. Go onto any company website or even local government sites and you will find complaints procedures and 110 ways to lodge your complaint, but where do we encourage positive feedback?

"Through the pandemic it was important for us at Carepoint to find ways to encourage our clients and staff to be able to show their gratitude for acts of kindness and work well done and that is why we have partnered with TAP that gave us the platform to encourage our staff and clients to focus on the positives and celebrate quality care.

"For the growing population of millennial employees, a social recognition platform is highly recommended and therefore partnering with TAP were a perfect fit for us. Happy employees are productive employees, and showing appreciation for our teams can encourage them to go the extra mile in their daily roles."
