A Liam Gallagher lookalike set to play in Sussex says Oasis have a lot to learn from their tribute acts ahead of their UK tour next year.

Today it was announced that the Britpop legends would be embarking on fourteen dates across the country between July and August 2025.

Trevor Jackson is preparing to perform as Liam in Worthing as part of tribute act Oh-aces and says the Gallaghers need to keep it "professional":

"Maybe don't wind each other up so much, don't take it out on each other on stage - and don't smash any instruments over eachother.

"Maybe don't get so drunk on stage - they're general rules of being in a band, really."

Boosting the economy

The brothers will be playing in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin, which is also expected to give the hospitality industry a boost.

Thomas Pugh, economist at RSM UK, said the tour will "undoubtedly be a phenomenal sellout, which will also cause a spike in demand for accommodation and hospitality in those cities lucky enough to be hosting a gig.

"This potentially presents a very profitable opportunity for the hospitality industry, especially hoteliers.

"For example, Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters saw hotel prices in Cardiff, which will also host an Oasis gig, rise by up to 500%."

Oh-aces' Jackson is among those hoping to get tickets "not maybe, definitely."

"I don't care where it is, I don't care what venue, what country, we're gonna all sit down and try and get tickets.

"We'll have to sell a limb, kidney, anything... we've got to be there."
