Further witness appeal after serious crash in Chichester

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, after a serious crash in Stane Street, Chichester on Tuesday 23 September at around 8.15am.

The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 60-year-old man from Chichester, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital where he remains.

Officers are conducting an ongoing investigation and would like to speak to the drivers of three vehicles which are believed to have been in the area at the time of the collision.

One vehicle has been described as a black Range Rover or similar with a pattern across the lefthand side of the vehicle. This car is believed to have turned right into Stane Street from the southbound A285.

The other two vehicles are believed to have turned left into Stane street from the northbound A285.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has relevant information such as CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
