Four people arrested following suspected stabbing in Wealden

Police in Wealden have arrested four arrests following a stabbing in Stone Cross.

Officers were called to an address in Burdock Place shortly after 2pm on Tuesday, April 25.

A man aged 56 had sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing, and was taken to hospital.

His injuries were not life-threatening.

Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

There will be an increased police presence in the area while police carry out enquiries. It was an isolated incident that does not pose a threat to the wider community.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote serial 785 of 25/04.
