SIO Detective Inspector May says "violence and crime will never be tolerated in the Thames Valley", and neither will knife crime.

“Too often we are reminded of the danger of carrying and using knives, the devastating consequences and the impact such a short moment in time has on the victim, their family and friends.

“My thoughts and that of Thames Valley Police very much remain with the family of Cameron Bailey and his friend at this difficult time.

“My message to the community is if you have any information about anybody who is carrying a knife, please report this to us, either on 101 or by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
