Fire breaks out in Ferring

A fire has broken out in Ferring this morning.

One crew from East Preston and two from Worthing were called to a property in Ferring Street at 7.55am this morning (14 March).

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said:

"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hose reels, two CO2 extinguishers, one dry powder extinguisher and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.

"The last crew booked away from the incident at 9.43am."

There are no reports of anyone being hurt.
