Fire at petrol station sees bus destroyed

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning.

A fire at a petrol station on Brighton Road, Lewes has seen a bus destoryed.

The incident was first reported shortly after 2am.

There were no reports of any injuries.

East Sussex fire stated:

"Four fire engines from Preston Circus, Hove and Roedean have been called to the scene. Firefighters are currently using two breathing apparatus and two foam jets to tackle the fire.

Six breathing apparatus, two foam jets and one main jet to tackle the fire used."

Crews left the scene after 5am.
