West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service say at least a dozen fire crews are tackling a blaze at Acorn Health & Leisure in Crawley.

Firefighters from across Surrey and East Sussex have also been helping deal with the incident at the building on Copthorne Road.

The alarm was raised at around 7.22am on Sunday morning (7 August).

Copthorne road is closed in both directions from the Wyevale Garden Centre to the main A264 Copthorne Hotel roundabout.

Residents in the area are being advised to close doors, windows, and curtains as a precaution.
