The last of Sussex's election results will be revealed on Monday (May 10th), that for the position of the county's Police and Crime Commissioner.

Katy Bourne of the Conservatives is looking to win a third term in office, having been in the job since the post was created back in 2013.

Four challengers are looking to win the post from her - Jamie Bennett of the Liberal Democrats, Kahina Bouhassane of the Green Party, Paul Richards of Labour and Independent Roy Williams.

Counting of the votes cast on Thursday is due to get underway at centres across Sussex's districts and boroughs on Monday morning, with a result due later in the afternoon.

It comes after the Conservatives held onto control of both Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council following counting on Sunday (May 9th).

The party came close to losing their majority in Worthing with Labour making several gains at their expense, following on from their strong showing in the town in the West Sussex County Council elections.

Labour gained five seats in all, Broadwater, Heene, Gaisford, Selden and Central, as well as holding onto Marine.

The Conservatives gained Northbrook from UKIP and held onto five other seats, while the Lib Dems retained Tarring.

The new make-up of the council is now Conservatives 19, Labour 15, Liberal Democrats 3.

In Adur, the Conservatives remain in overall control after winning eleven of the district's 18 seats up for re-election.

Labour took five, with the remaining two going to the Greens and to independent Joss Loader.

The new make-up of the council there is now Conservatives 19, Labour 7, Independents 2, Greens 1.
