Falcons nesting at Chichester Cathedral have laid four eggs, which are expected to hatch next month.

The peregrine falcons are usually spotted by people visiting the cathedral grounds from March til August, but are also being watched via a live-stream.

The peregrine project is collaboratively run by Chichester Cathedral, the Sussex Ornithological Society (SOS), Carnyx and local wildlife enthusiasts David and Janet Shaw who have been observing the birds since 2001.

It is expected that the four eggs will begin to hatch from 5th May.
