Three men have been injured after a stabbing in Eastbourne.

Officers were called to Seaside Road at around 8.20pm last night (14 August) following reports of a fight.

A man was found with potentially life-threatening injuries, while two others had sustained minor stab wounds.

All three were taken to hospital for treatment.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.

Detectives are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, and an increased police presence remains in the area.
