Disruption expected on trains between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells for half-term getaway
Vital work is taking place to replace the tracks and stabilise embankments
As families prepare for an October getaway, major disruption is expected on the trains between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells.
Vital work to replace parts of the track and stabilise embankments is taking place this weekend and throughout the half-term holidays.
Rail bosses say the old infrastructure needs improvement to prevent future landslips.
This is all part of an ongoing project under the £1.25bn South East Upgrade to help improve performance and reliability.
Rail replacement busses will be running, but people are warned some are only stopping at select stations.
