Cyclist seriously injured in Chichester collision

His bike collided with a tractor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was left seriously injured following a collision with a tractor in Chichester.

Officers were called by ambulance to Old Broyle Road at 6.10pm on August 10th.

The cyclist - a 48-year-old man - sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment.

The tractor was towing a trailer carrying equipment and travelling westbound. It had left the scene prior to police arrival.

PC Steve Butcher said: "We want to hear from anyone who witnessed this collision or who has any information.

"We are working to identify the driver so we can establish the full circumstances of what happened.

"If you think you may have been the tractor driver please come forwards and speak to us."
