Cyclist badly hurt in West Sussex collision

There is an appeal for witnesses to a collision in which a cyclist was seriously hurt in West Sussex.

Police were called to reports of a crash between a car and cyclist on the A2037 in the village of Small Dole at around midday last Tuesday (30 March).

The man on the bicycle, a 58-year-old from Henfield, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton, for treatment.
