Crawley Town are through to the third round of the EFL Cup after defeating Premier League opposition in Fulham.

The League Two side who have had a tough start to their campaign, with just one point gained from their opening five games, would make an ideal start in this match.

Tom Nichols opened the scoring with just over a quarter of an hour gone.

They would double their advantage with four minutes gone in the second-half with Liverpool loanee James Balagizi securing a famous victory for the side, defeating a team 84 places above them.

The draw for the third round will be made this evening, when the rest of the Premier League teams enter the competition.
