12-year-old boy dies after crash in Crawley

Sussex Police are appealing for information

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Crawley on Friday (November 25) in which a child sadly died.

Emergency services were called to Crawley Avenue at around 2.45pm to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital by the ambulance service where he sadly passed away. His next of kin have been informed.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the situation and police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, or anybody with relevant dashcam footage.
