There will be changes to bin collections over the Christmas and New Year period across West Sussex.

In Adur and Worthing there will be no recycling and waste collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Monday (28 December), New Year's Day or at weekends.

Arun District Council have confirmed garden waste collections will resume on 4 January.

The full calendar of changes is here:

In Chichester, collection days will return to normal from 18 January.

Any extra waste from the holiday period will be picked up by collection crews on the first collection after Christmas.

The Garden Recycling Service will also start again on 4 January, and residents who are signed up to this service can use it to recycle their real Christmas tree.

The full calendar can be found here.

There will be no collections on Christmas Day, the Boxing Day Bank Holiday on 28 December or New Year’s Day in Horsham.

Collection operatives will be working additional Saturdays on 2, 9 and 16 January to catch up and collections will be back to the normal schedule from 18 January.

Garden waste collections will resume on 6 January.

Householders can also view and download their own personalised collections calendars here.
