CCTV image appeal after Worthing convenience store robbery

The man entered the shop and threatened staff.

Police are looking to identify a man after a robbery at a convenience store in Worthing.

Officers were called to the Co-op store in Ham Road at 10.35pm on Sunday (September 13) to reports of a man entering the shop and threatening staff. He left the scene with a packet of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s, of medium to slim build and around 5’ 10”. He was wearing a light grey hooded zip up top with pockets, light grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers. He also had a black face covering on.

Anyone who recognises him, or who may have any other information about what happened, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1495 of 13/09.
