Motorcyclist injured in Bognor crash

A car failed to stop after it happened.

A car has failed to stop after a crash in Bognor in which a motorcyclist was injured.

Officers were called to the A259 Rowan Way, Bognor Regis, at around 5.10pm on Thursday (12 November) to reports of a collision between a black BMW 1 car and a motorbike at the junction of Ash Grove.

The 29 year-old man who was riding the motorbike was treated at hospital for his injuries.

PC Paul Gregory of the Surrey and Sussex Road Policing Unit said:

"The BMW left the scene eastbound after the collision, and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.

"Anyone with any information, or who saw what happened, especially if they have any dashcam footage, is asked to us via collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting serial 1105 of 12/11."
