Car and lorry collide on A272

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash on the A272 in West Sussex.

It happened around 7.45pm last night (Sunday 2 Jan) when a car and lorry collided at Brownings Hill on the main road between Buck Barn and Cowfold.

The woman driving the car sustained serious and life threatening injuries.

The A272 between Buck Barn and Cowfold has been closed for some time while the scene was examined
