Brighton manager Graham Potter has tested positive for coronavirus and will miss the Seagulls' Premier League match with Leicester on Sunday (January 23rd).

Assistant manager Billy Reid will take charge of the side for the match at the King Power Stadium.

It will be the first time he has managed a senior team since his stint as manager of Scottish club Hamilton Academical in 2013.

Speaking at the club's press conference on Friday, Reid said:

We're not too sure how that will work yet but I will certainly be linked up to him at home.

"Graham had a rough night last night and tested positive this morning so he didn't take training.

"I was a manager in Scotland for eight years so I know what to expect. Nothing will change too much, we'll try and keep things normal."

Brighton go into the weekend's fixtures in ninth place in the Premier League, and are looking to stretch their unbeaten run in the top flight to six matches.
