Police are trying to identify the driver of a hit-and-run in East Preston after a 13-year-old boy was seriously injured.

The young victim, from Angmering, was cycling on Sea Road around 7pm on Sunday, March 12, when he was in a collision with a silver/grey car which failed to stop.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a second vehicle which stopped to help the boy.

They would also like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who has relevant dash-cam footage.

Anyone able to help police is asked to call 101 quoting serial 745 of 14/03.
